I am head-over-heels for beautiful hand lettering. If you were to scan through my phone or inbox, you'll find examples of lettering I love. I am constantly tearing things out of magazines and collecting examples of packaging, stationary, and envelopes. I have a total, utter passion for it all.
Molly Jacques, one of the lettering artists I admire most, hosted a modern calligraphy class on Skillshare, an online learning community site. I took Molly's, "The Art of Modern Calligraphy" Class where she shared the basics of composing an alphabet. I really enjoyed my first lettering class. It's very calming to create something beautiful and consistent. I will definitely take more lettering classes so I can continue to improve and build my hand lettering skills.
